Reuben is phenomenal. I first called him for a simple task of replacing some switches, for which another person had proposed an insane price. Reuben was very quick to respond and visit and proposed a much more reasonable price (a fraction of the other’s). I then asked for help in splitting the wiring on one floor and installing remote-controlled dimmers everywhere—once again, fast, fair, and really professional. I will look to work with him on all electrical issues going forward. Highly recommended.

Ruben was professional and timely. He kept me up to date and involved in the entire process of changing two of my outlets. He pays attention to detail, his work is clean and his prices fair. He is witty and personable. He was accommodating towards my schedule and my off the cuff requests for additional assistance in my kitchen. I am pleased with his work and I would recommend and would gladly work alongside with Ruben again.

Rueben ran two lines from the basement to my first floor to accommodate a new electric stove. He made sure the solution was in keeping with NYC code. He found the best solution to running a line through the entire length of the house that blended in with the finished basement. He left everything neat and clean with no mess to clean up. And was a pleasure to work with. 5 stars for sure.

I called Explore Electric pretty late in the day to get a bathroom light/exhaust fan combo fixture installed. To my surprise they said they could come the same day and would arrive at about 7pm. The electrician was early. Came prepared with different shoes to wear inside my home and left his outside shoes at the front door. He was extremely personable and totally focused on what he was doing. Cleaned up after himself and did a wonderful job. This was my first time using them, but I'll definitely use them again in the future. Their pricing was in line with other electricians l called but l chose Explore Electric because of their solid reviews online.

Reuben was very responsive and professional. I had an issue with the breaker and wasn't exactly sure what the problem was, but he took the time to explain possible issues/solutions over the phone. I appreciated that, especially having called other electricians in the area and they were trying to charge me right away and not bother to listen to the situation. He was able to solve my breaker issue the next day and was honest and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
